Everbright possesses a complete VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) 6-inch wafer process platform and production line, covering the entire production process from chip design, epitaxial growth, mesa etching, oxidation, gold electroplating, to performance testing. With deep expertise in MOVCD (Metal-Organic Vapor Phase Chemical Deposition) epitaxy technology, precise control of oxidation apertures, and epitaxial wafer processing, Everbright has full control over the design, epitaxy, and wafer fabrication of LiDAR VCSEL chips.
The LiDAR VCSEL chips offered by Everbright cover the 905-940nm wavelength range, with power outputs ranging from 30W to 1000W. They feature an operating efficiency greater than 18%, divergence angle less than 18 degrees, and power density exceeding 1200W/mm². The technology supports 6 to 8 junctions design routes, including single emitting area, as well as 1D and 2D addressing methods for different lighting configurations.
Everbright's LiDAR VCSEL chips are well-suited for LiDAR applications, providing high power, efficiency, and precision required for advanced 3D sensing systems. These chips are crucial in enabling accurate distance measurement and environmental scanning for autonomous vehicles, robotics, and various other sensing technologies.
